Growing Great Greens!

Lovely glorious leafy greens!  From spinach to swiss chard, mustard to mesclun, this workshop will venture into the wondrous world of leafy green plants. The workshop will include a tour of the City Farm school garden, a discussion on growing, cooking and eating various greens and a chance to plant a green in the garden and harvest one as well!

Inspiring Balcony Gardens workshop: Yes, we plant!

Everybody has access everyday to a balcony, a yard or a roof where it is possible to grow a great variety of veggies, herbs and flowers.  Our workshop will to explore the potential of urban agriculture in small spaces and little means. We will give you techniques to build yourself double bottom bins, prepare homemade fertilizers and ideas for space efficiency.

Because we can grow plants and beautify our home and workplace: Yes, we plant!
