How can I find the Greenhouse?
We are currently located on the 7th floor of Henry Hall Bldg at the SGW campus. Look for the open space full of plants.
I thought the Greenhouse was on the 13th floor?
We were, but due to mechanical maintenance & asbestos removal in the storage room behind the Greenhouse we had to temporarily relocate to the 7th floor. After the work was done in the adjacent room, we were informed that our emergency exit was inadequate. Without a safe secondary exit we are unable to return.
What is happening with the 13th floor?
As far as we have been informed, nothing. We are currently looking into resources on how to raise money to have our own emergency stairwell installed. But as you can imagine it is a very expensive endeavor.
How can I get involved?
Moving to the 7th floor has been difficult. Our programming has had to shift, and we have had to develop new internship possibilities. But as we work towards reclaiming our space on the 13th floor, we are creating internships, volunteer opportunities, and events that reflect our dedication to our student community.
