The Concordia Greenhouse Projects is a fee levy group and a not-for-profit organization that operates on consensus based decision making. Governance is provided by a Board of Directors, which is responsible for overseeing the strategic direction, sustainability, and alignment of the greenhouse with its educational mission. The board ensures that the greenhouse operates in accordance with university policies and the broader goals of experiential learning and community engagement.
Day-to-day operations are carried out by staff, with input and guidance from the Board as needed. As a university-based nonprofit initiative, the greenhouse is committed to principles of transparency, accountability, and public benefit, supporting interdisciplinary learning opportunities in a hands-on environment.
