A brand new local market is heading to downtown Montreal, right under our greenhouse noses, on the terrasse behind the Hall building. The market will provide a wide variety of wares, from local organic produce, to tea, to baked goods, to body products, and much more! Come out and support the local gardens and artisans, or just browse around and take in the live music. Today is the debut, but Marché Locale will be back every Tuesday until the end of November. See below for more details.
This week’s vendors include some of the leaders in urban agriculture in Montréal, as well as well-established artisans…
- Co-op Jardins de la Résistance
- Jardins D’autrefois + neighbouring farms
- Santropol Roulant
- Concordia Greenhouse’s City Farm School and Mackay Gardens
- Porat Natural Foods
- Jeremiah’s Pies
- Save our Goddesses
- Vicki’s Natural body-products
- Lufa Farms
Where and when to go: Marché Locale will be held every Tuesday from 4-7 (August 21st to November 27th) on the terrasse behind the Hall building at Concordia’s downtown campus: 1455 de Maisonneuve Blvd. W., Montréal.
